Aged in bourbon whiskey barrels for three months, Cooper and Thief Bourbon Barrel Aged Red Blend Red Wine has rich flavor with a long, lingering finish. Merlot, syrah, zinfandel, petite sirah and cabernet sauvignon collide in one bourbon barrel to create this dark and jammy red blend wine that features bourbon-inspired flavors and aromas. This dark red wine garners its unique flavor from grape varietals found all across California's prime winegrowing regions. Crafted by Cellarmaster Jeff Kasavan, this California red wine bestows aromatic hints of fruit and toasty vanilla. Bourbon barrel aging gives this wine a soft, velvety mouthfeel with a subtle heat. Full-bodied and rich, this bold California wine is ideal for serving with steak and poultry, featuring at a wine and cheese party or enjoying as a nightcap.
